Manchester City’s promising young talent, Terrell Agyemang, has reached an agreement with Championship club Middlesbrough. The 20-year-old defender, who joined Manchester City from Charlton Athletic in September 2022, will make the move to Middlesbrough upon the expiration of his contract with the Blues, having spent just under 12 months with the club.
Agyemang played a notable role in City’s successful Premier League 2 campaign, where he featured in 13 matches and provided two assists. Under the guidance of manager Brian Barry-Murphy, Manchester City’s team claimed the PL2 title for the third consecutive season, finishing six points ahead of second-placed West Ham United. With only four losses throughout the season, City demonstrated their dominance. Despite their triumph, Agyemang has opted to embark on a new chapter in his career, signing a two-year deal with Middlesbrough.
Born in London to Ghanaian parents, Agyemang hails from a football-oriented family. His brother, Montel, currently plays for Billericay Town, and they both share a connection with the popular YouTube football team, SE Dons. By joining Middlesbrough, Agyemang aims to further his development and leave a lasting impact in the highly competitive Championship.
